92Jelani is the Sonic Alchemist. An initiate from the Washington DC club scene, he grew up in the legendary DC venue U Street Music Hall before moving west to LA. Fascinated by the transcendental qualities of sound, 92Jelani creates sonic experiences that connects Techno music to its soul.
Equipped with a Verbos Modular system using a mixing console and dub effects, 92Jelani produces music that captures emotions coming from his subconscious mind. Inherently reactive to the crowd, 92Jelani brings his experience DJing in nightclubs since the age 16 to every performance.
Fundamentally inspired by the 2nd Wave of Detroit Techno, 92Jelani explores electronic music both sonically, philosophically and motivated by the pure delight in the freedom of dance.
