ALX-106 is the moniker of Alex Anderson, formerly known as Nasty Nachos, and the face of eurorack manufacturer, WMD’s, online presence. Anderson has been making and performing music for as long as he can remember and has shared the stage with many legends throughout his career including New Order, Richard Devine, Plaid, Jacques Greene, and many others. His sound covers a wide range from deep house, to downtempo and ambient, adding an organic twist by adding his own voice in a wash of delay to create looped, swelling textures.
He performs a ton as a solo artist as well as in collaboration with other artists. Most recently, he has been seen doing live collaborations with musical partner, Trovarsi and together, they have performed all over the country including an appearance at LA based 6AM group’s RE/FORM Festival on the Boiler Room stage.
Alex is also the founder, resident, and host of Freq Boutique and Patched Out, which are long running (5+ years) monthly parties focused on growing the electronic music and modular synthesizer scene in his hometown of Denver, Co.
