Dorian Gunnels a.k.a Need For Storms, and I spent an afternoon in North Beach, and some drinks, and went to my studio for an interview. However, he decided to take over the show, and be the host. KZZL came back to Electronic Music after a 10 year hiatus.
He started playing in bands in 2000, Midnightmare, Dead Sexy, and Red Youth. Now, he's released an EP Lixiviate, with a full length coming later in 2019. He collaborates with Ahto Leon on their duo project, Imitation Growth.
In 2018 he returned to the stage at Resonant Frequencies in Oakland, and Resident in San Francisco. He hosts a live electronic meet up called Piqued, which he co-created with Rich Hogben.
