Sleepy Cat is a Los Angeles-based techno producer and live performer known for deep, minimal, and hypnotic techno soundscapes. They blends styles including techno, minimal, dub, and garage influences, performing regularly at underground venues across LA. Also known as Ken Chow, Sleepy Cat brings years of experience as both a producer and DJ, with releases on labels including HDDNSYMBLS in collaboration with fellow LA artist Orly Gal. A staple within the local house and techno community, Sleepy Cat has been performing under this moniker for just a few years while already amassing over a decade of experience on the decks. Sleepy Cat continues to push boundaries with raw, driving techno productions and live sets throughout the Los Angeles underground scene.
Kinetik is a live drum and bass band performing in the Los Angeles underground electronic music scene. Featured at venues like Soulwerks Studios in Alhambra alongside acts like WERD, Kinetik brings the energy of drum and bass to life through live performance. The band represents part of the growing movement of live drum and bass acts, offering audiences the raw intensity of the genre performed with live instrumentation rather than traditional DJ sets.
DISKQ is an la based synth artist and maker who crafts experimental techno music with a focus on dawless performances. inspired by digital culture, nature, and play, she often blends IRL with the virtual, taking her setup outdoors. she’s showcased her work at NAMM, where she introduced the myTRACKS groovebox for kids, and recently live-scored Yokai Monsters: Spook Warfare at the Philosophical Research Society. over the years, DISKQ has collaborated with brands such as Novation, Arturia, and Elektron. currently she’s exploring MIDI-based visualizers and 3D-printed prototypes, like the VOIDCAT: midi-reactive cat ears that merge cute aesthetics with analog technology.
Silverfish is a Los Angeles-based techno duo composed of Shania Taint and CIA Satan. The pair brings their individual production styles together as a collaborative project for the LA underground scene.
Jon Manness is a Los Angeles-based trumpet player and music producer who fuses live instrumentation with electronic dance music. Known for his unapologetic approach to both performance and production, Manness infuses organic voices over electronic sound design, creating a unique blend of jazz, house, and techno. His live sets "UNAPOLOGETIC: Trumpet meets Techno" and "Jazz House Live" showcase his ability to seamlessly integrate live trumpet performance with electronic music, offering audiences an immersive experience that connects traditional musicianship with contemporary dance music. A multi-instrumentalist and analog synth programmer with expertise in Moog, Sequential, and Roland synthesizers, Manness brings a distinctive hybrid approach to the LA underground scene.
