Synsor is the alias of composer, orchestrator, and visual artist Steve McQuarry, a longtime supporter of Piqued.fm since its earliest days. Known for blending ambient, noise, and beat-driven forms into sci-fi-inflected soundscapes, Synsor’s music spans electronica, techno, trance, drone, and experimental textures, often drifting between the airy and the intense. Whether crafting immersive audio-visual works or pushing boundaries across genre lines, Steve’s work continues to evolve with both curiosity and care.

Fetz A/V (they/them) is a Bay Area-based live audio‑visual artist, sculpting immersive visual mindscapes using retro video‑game hardware, circuit‑bent analog gear, CRT installations, and video feedback. After more than a decade working behind the scenes in festivals like Coachella and EDC, Fetz now leads with visuals, though their roots in live improvised audio shine through in earlier performances, including a fully original audio-visual set for the Resident SF Electronic Monthly Meetup in May 2020.
