Negative Affect is the current moniker of U.S.-based electronic artist Billy Garcia, who previously performed as DJ Angeldu$t. His earliest appearances under the Negative Affect name date back to 2024, notably on Resident Advisor. Under his former alias, DJ Angeldu$t, he released projects such as Menace to Sobriety Vol. 1 (2020), recorded across Whittier, Berlin, and Brooklyn, as well as untitled in 2022. He has also collaborated on tracks like “Mr. Chi City” and “Hyperflange” with LA’s Gyration Station collective.
