Evan Buswell is a musician, instrument maker, and cultural studies researcher operating just north of San Francisco, next to a floodplain where frogs croak deafeningly on summer nights. Evan composes music by combining insights from the creativity of higher mathematics with a sense of the transcendental possibilities of human life. As New Systems Instruments, Evan creates analog electronic musical instruments exploring the philosophical foundations of sound and music.
