Anastasia Giovani releases Female Rage EP with searing critique of constructed femininity

A concept driven release
Out now on Bandcamp, Female Rage is the latest EP from Anastasia Giovani. The two-track digital release presents more than just music, it serves as a direct confrontation with the social conditioning placed upon feminine identity. Through tightly focused production and sharply articulated intent, the EP reclaims emotional expression as a site of defiance.

Reclaiming agency through sound
Rather than temper or mask its message, the EP opens with the title track “Female Rage,” channeling frustration and refusal into raw sonic form. The second track, “Soul Vulture,” deepens the commentary.
Giovani’s notes accompanying the release frame rage not as breakdown but as breakthrough. “Female rage is not hysteria,” she writes, “it’s carved out agency.” The EP’s tone echoes this, assertive, unfiltered, and consciously rejecting the boundaries of palatability.
