Error Instruments' rare "Ballerina" module returns and only five extra pieces remain
Two years after its initial release, Error Instruments' coveted Ballerina Eurorack module has resurfaced with just five remaining units available. The Amsterdam-based manufacturer recently announced via Instagram that these final pieces from the original limited run of 30 are now up for grabs.
The Ballerina merges whimsy with functionality, featuring a spinning toy ballerina enclosed in an 18HP, gold-plated module. This hand-crafted music box operates as both a CV-controllable sound source and external preamplifier. Users crank the mechanism to animate the ballerina while generating ethereal tones perfect for sampling or processing into ambient and cinematic textures.
Originally introduced in 2023, the 55mm-deep module quickly became a collector's item among modular enthusiasts seeking unique, artistic additions to their systems. Error Instruments describes each unit as "a small work of art" rather than merely an instrument.
