Intellijel posted an ambient patch walkthrough to its YouTube channel on 17 September, building one patch out of its Atlantix voice, Shifty, Metropolix, Multigrain, Tangrams, Swells, Sealegs and the Noise Tools 1U.
The video is chaptered. It opens with the effects chain, sets up what Intellijel calls a round robin between Shifty and Atlantix at 00:31, moves to sequencing with Metropolix at 03:04, and comes back to Shifty at 06:37 to distribute CV modulation.
From 10:31 the patch adds texture using live sounds on Multigrain, turns to Tangrams at 14:10 and brings in random modulation from the Noise Tools 1U at 17:15. The last two sections trigger reverse on Swells and freeze on Sealegs, then play the finished patch from 20:55.
“This patch explores ways to expand on Atlantix’ outputs using Shifty, creating evolving sequences with Metropolix, and modulating effects for some trippy textures,” Intellijel says in the video description, “plus some other ideas, tips and tricks.”
