Novation Creator Lab: Bitwig Edition, an afternoon of hands-on production and hybrid live performance hosted by Novation with Bitwig Studio as the DAW for the day, held August 22 at About the Work Actors Studio in Los Angeles. Three workshops, three live sets, and a demo lounge of Novation gear.

Peter Nyboer opened with a hybrid live set and led the workshop on hardware workflows that followed. A co-founder of Livid Instruments, he's spent his career building controllers that treat MIDI as a media instrument rather than strictly a musical one, work that runs from a real-time video sampling rig at Ars Electronica in 1999 through Next Thing Co, Sensel, and now Buchla.
