Polyend announces Loop, a four-track looper with a built-in drum machine

Polyend has announced Loop, a stompbox that pairs four audio loop tracks with a four-track drum machine and a multi-effects processor. The company showed it at Guitar Summit 2026 on 23 September. It costs $599/€599, pre-orders are open and Polyend says shipping starts in mid-October.

Loop tracks and drums

Each of the four loop tracks records in mono or stereo, up to 52 seconds in mono and 26 seconds in stereo. Tracks play forward, reverse or ping-pong, and run either tempo-synced, to the internal clock or incoming MIDI, or free. A varispeed function ties loop speed and pitch to tempo changes.

The single input takes instrument and line-level signals as well as a dynamic microphone. The drum side adds four more tracks, and Polyend lists over 350 rhythm patterns, more than 500 kits, over 2,000 drum samples and more than 180 loops. Patterns run up to 16 steps, with 16 patterns per project, and samples can be imported from microSD.

The effects section holds more than 100 processors, among them reverbs, delays, modulation, distortion and filters, with one assignable per loop track. Loop holds up to 1,000 projects and writes each track to the microSD card as a separate WAV file for transfer to a DAW.
