Weston Precision Audio and Trovarsi unveil "Trivium" prototype at Knobcon

A new collaboration between Weston Precision Audio and Trovarsi made its debut at this year's Knobcon convention. The prototype module, dubbed "Trivium," was showcased to enthusiastic attendees during the annual synthesizer gathering.

Trivium packs considerable analog functionality into a compact format, featuring a discrete OTA filter, dual envelopes, and a VCA. The module offers flexible routing options, including adjustable envelope routing and pre/post VCA signal paths. Weston Precision Audio describes it as "a versatile compact analog back end" suitable for various synthesis applications.

The prototype demonstration generated positive reactions from the Knobcon crowd, with both manufacturers expressing excitement about the collaboration. While no release date or pricing has been announced, both companies have promised updates on the module's development in the coming weeks.

The partnership between Weston Precision Audio and Trovarsi represents a meeting of minds in the boutique Eurorack space, with both companies known for their attention to analog circuit design and build quality.
